Preparations for the launch of the WMS and WEDOS Cloud test run are at their peak

Beta tests of WMS and WEDOS Cloud services are over. Dozens of testers provided us with very valuable feedback that allowed us to take our services one step further. It’s taken longer than we planned, but if you’re working on a revolutionary service that’s supposed to outperform the competition, you have to expect to hit a number of snags.

Data centre WEDOS 3 “kravín” – first virtual view

So far, 2020 is a very action-packed year for us. Several services are close to completion(WMS, WEDOS Cloud), others are being prepared for beta tests or are already being tested (WEDOS CD, WEDOS WebSite). It’s a good thing we recruited 5 new colleagues last year and will be adding more in February 🙂 However, we also moved forward with our third datacenter project. Since it will have sloping roofs and be in the countryside, we call it a “cowshed” 🙂

Introduction of WEDOS WebSite

In the article The Year of Safety and Progress at WEDOS we mentioned the most important projects for the first half of 2020. After reading this article, one of our small development team, who was in charge of a project we called WEDOS Builder, came to us and asked why their project wasn’t there, that they had it almost done and would be happy to bet us that they would do a beta test by the end of the month. They won 😲

Events for .SK domain and what WEDOS is planning in Slovakia

Today we have just started the .SK domain promotion, which we are organizing in cooperation with the Slovak registry SK-NIC. The latter decided to celebrate 400.000 domains with a special price on new .SK domain registrations for 4 days. Of course, we immediately jumped on board to offer you .SK domains at this great price 😉

We have embarked on our own ICANN accreditation

We are currently an accredited registrar of .CZ, .EU, .SK and .PL domains. We have been considering becoming an accredited registrar ourselves for other extensions for some time. We would be able to help our customers faster and better in many ways. It would also open up new marketing opportunities for us and of course better prices. We recently took the first big step – we started the ICANN accreditation process.
