Project HUPS – Introduction and history of WEDOS oil cooling

We have done a number of experiments with oil cooling servers. Some took literally a few minutes and  other times the whole project took several years to collect enough data for long-term operation. As a result of a series of experiments, our second datacenter will house all of the planned 10,800 physical servers cooled in oil baths using a giant cooling circuit. It includes a project to prove (proof of concept) that waste heat from oil cooling can be used to heat remote buildings. Of course, we don’t stop there, we still have the HUPS project 😉

How fast are the sites on WEDOS or how many views does the most visited site on NoLimit have?

Our CML (Central Monitoring Logs) system continuously collects data from all servers and other devices on our network and evaluates it in real time. This is 600 – 700 GB of data per day. It serves primarily for the purpose of tracking down errors and problems. However, we also use them for our protection, for example. But what if we made them into an infographic?

WEDOS activates pandemic plan and goes into online remote mode
