Presentation of the interior of the building before the start of the datacentre construction. In the article you will find a photo gallery of the interior, including the former air-raid shelter.
The following photo gallery shows the state of our building in January 2010, before the construction work started.
The building has a ground floor and 1. floor. On the ground floor there is a former air-raid shelter, which was built in the 1970s. years and was prepared as an emergency radio broadcasting studio for České Budějovice and its surroundings and also as an emergency communication node (telephone exchange for South Bohemia). This means, among other things, that the building has solid reinforced concrete perimeter walls, so we are not worried about problems with its statics. Currently, only the O2 technology room (digital telephone exchange for Hluboká nad Vltavou and its surroundings) is located here, the remaining premises were rented as warehouses. This entire former shelter was rebuilt into new technological premises, but the O2 rooms remained intact.
The whole 1. the first floor is used as offices for our needs – corridor, offices, small warehouse, cloakroom, toilet and other small rooms. This first floor will remain unchanged for the time being.
