We are now offering VPS with Windows Server 2012

The latest version of Microsoft’s server operating system is now also available on virtual servers.

When ordering a virtual server, we will continue to offer the older 2008 version, so overall we have the following on offer:

Windows Server 2012 Datacenter Czech 64-bit
Windows Server 2012 Datacenter English 64-bit

We offer only the highest edition of Datacenter, which does not restrict customers in any way and offers all available options of this operating system.

Terms of use and prices are the same for all versions. License rental costs 50 CZK per month without VAT for each VPS module. It is still valid that the license for the first billing period of the service is free (i.e. one month or one year free depending on the billing period chosen when ordering).

Upgrading from Windows Server 2008 to 2012 is not possible. The interested party must order a new VPS or we can reinstall the existing VPS upon request (beware – all data on the server will be lost, please send requests via the contact form).

The company WEDOS Internet, a.s. was founded in 2010 and within 25 months it became the largest provider of web hosting services in the Czech Republic.

We have our own two private datacentres in Hluboká Nad Vltavou, where only our servers and technology are located. The second datacentre, where the servers will be cooled in an oil bath, is built and we are preparing everything for start-up. For the third datacentre we have already bought the land and are processing the necessary permits.
