We are looking for an experienced hardware administrator to develop and maintain the technology and infrastructure of our upcoming WEDOS data centre.
Job description
- participation in the selection and purchase of hardware
- hardware testing
- installation of hardware, basic installation of servers, network elements, storage and other devices
- hardware evidence
- solving technical problems
- cooperation with programmers and other technicians
- participation in the maintenance of the IP network (especially the physical part)
- participation in the development and maintenance of other parts of the datacenter infrastructure (air conditioning, backup power supply, access and surveillance systems, monitoring)
- occasional maintenance of workstations and other equipment
We require
- High school/university education in a technical field
- excellent knowledge of computer hardware
- basic knowledge of Linux OS and Windows Server
- basic programming knowledge (e.g. bash, PHP, Java)
- Knowledge of networks (TCP/IP)
- great appetite for work, dedication
- active approach, initiative
- full-time work (no external or part-time work)
Advantage

- University degree in IT
- experience with IPv6
- advanced knowledge of Windows Server
- advanced knowledge of Linux
- Advanced knowledge of IP networks – routers, routing and protocols (BGP, OSPF), SAN, NAS, VPN
