Holiday to do list or what we are working on now

The holiday season is characterised by lower user activity on the Internet. We can see this in our company by the fact that the pressure on customer and technical support is decreasing. Our statistics show that people just enjoy relaxing and don’t sit in front of computers as much. We always take advantage of this period to move forward with a lot of projects, improve the infrastructure and finish some of the rest. Plus, this year the Czechs decided to start enjoying themselves earlier and so June was a little bit of July for us 🙂

We know how to do services cheaply and in bulk, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t big companies with big projects

When designing services, we think first and foremost about automation, as this is the basis for rapid growth and selling a large number of services at the lowest possible price. From ordering and paying for the service, to setting up, upgrading, activating additional services and cancelling the service, everything is done automatically. When you move to a cloud infrastructure, your service can even automatically change physical servers based on the current load to avoid congestion. Christmas at WEDOS and how this year has been a mess

This year everything got pretty messed up for us, as it did for most of us. We had to improvise a lot, adapt to the current situation and overcome many problems. Fortunately, we are no longer a small company, but a successful large hosting company with plenty of financial and material reserves and a great team of people who have gained a lot of experience over the past 10 years and this year it was evident.

WEDOS activates pandemic plan and goes into online remote mode

When we addressed the pandemic plan for our company’s operations last month, we treated it more like a paper test to see how ready we were to go fully online. We took it with exaggeration and a certain amount of humour.

Last week we also had an ISO certification and it was discussed there as well, we wanted to know how well prepared we were and what to improve.
